The Purpose of Use of Personal Information (Article 18.1 of the Act)

In case of joint use, the Company shall obtain the consent of the person each time showing the following items;

• The items of the personal data used jointly
• The scope of the joint users
• The purpose for which the personal data is used by them
• The name of the individual or entity responsible for the management of the personal data concerned

Information on applicants and employees shall be used jointly among YAMAGATA group within the scope of the purpose of use.

Concerning Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties (Article 23.1 of the Act)

The Company manages personal information collected (acquired) appropriately and shall not provide them to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the person. However, this shall not apply in the following cases;

• Cases in which it is based on laws
• Cases in which it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
• Cases in which it is particularly necessary for improving public hygiene or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
• Cases in which it is necessary for cooperating with a state institution, a local public body, or an individual or entity entrusted by one in executing the operations prescribed by laws and in which obtaining the consent of the person might impede the execution of the operations concerned
